printed on Giclée Hahnemühle German Etching
This painting is inspired by the traditional Japanese culture. The Japanese art of kintsugi, which means golden joinery, is all about turning ugly breaks into beautiful fixes.
They mend the broken clay pots and vases, etc, with golden filling to show how beautiful
they can be after being broken.
The artist believes together we can do the same in our shared future. It requires us to share our golden traits with brokenness.
